Project Description

Browne McGregor Architects provided full architectural services for a new optical manufacturing lab for Houston Eye Associates in Houston, TX.  The 4,200 s.f. facility is located on the ground floor of a commercial office building and houses specialty manufacturing equipment for the making of prescription eyeglass lenses.  On-site processes include lens cutting, shaping, etching and polishing in the surfacing lab, as well as, stripping and coating in the semi-clean coating lab.  Additional spaces are provided for job tracking, quality assurance, storage and sandblasting.
