Project Description

Browne McGregor Architects provided architectural services for the new Bar Buena by Goode Company Restaurants in River Oaks of Houston.  The unassuming entrance off McDuffie Street provides little evidence of the authentic surprise waiting behind it.  Tucked into an 840 s.f. space behind the Kitchen & Cantina Restaurant, this intimate bar concept provides a moody, cavern like retreat for patrons to draw close and raise a glass.  Dim lighting, a warm, dark color palette, earthy finishes and texture provide an elevated sanctuary celebrating tradition, tequila and other mezcals.
